The China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF) and Micoe Caring Foundation under Beijing Micoe Solar Energy Technology Company launched "Water Cellar for Mothers" Water Purification Project in Lianyungang City in east China's Jiangsu Province on January 7, 2016.

During the ceremony, Xu Xinjian, president of Beijing Micoe Solar Energy Technology Company, donated 5 million RMB (U.S.$758,500) to CWDF for the "Micoe Caring Foundation" project.

The project will attach much importance to water purification this year. Based on the "Water Cellar for Mothers" project, it will set up water stations in rural villages to provide premium, safe drinking water for local residents in a simple way. It not only supports the "Water Cellar for Mothers" project but also helps mothers set up startups, guarantees safe drinking water in schools, and works on alleviation of poverty projects, with a constant focus on caring for the impoverished and weak.
