An evening gala titled "Chinese Juveniles' Talent Show" was held in Beijing on July 23, in a bid to promote the "Water Cellar for Mothers" Project.

"Water Cellar for Mothers" is a charity project, sponsored by China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF), which provides readily accessible potable water for people, especially women, in rural China, mostly in western regions of the country.

The evening gala was sponsored by China National Radio and China Everbright Bank. The organizers of the gala selected outstanding young people's artistic performances from 18 cities in China, including Beijing, Tianjin and Guangzhou. Performers delivered wonderful performances with well-known artists for the participants of the gala.

All the performances were centered on topics related to the "Water Cellar for Mothers" project. Performers called on people to take an active part in the project through their performances ranging from painting, singing, dancing to story telling.

Vice-President and Secretary-General of CWDF Qin Guoying and senior officials from relevant parties attended the gala.
