The 'Angel of Water-Micro Public Welfare' action group assessed the implementation of a project to provide safe drinking water to students in Chaimen Township Central Primary School of Huining County, northwest China's Gansu Province, from June 6-8, 2013.

The project is jointly supported by the Agricultural Development Bank of China and the 'Angel of Water-Micro Public Welfare' action group.

The action group was initiated by 10 students from the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University, to call on teachers and students in the school to support the Water Cellar for Mothers Project.

The group has raised 12,000 yuan (US$1,956.9) for the construction of a rainwater harvesting field in Chaimen Township Central Primary School to ensure students are provided with a source of safe drinking water.
