Set up by the China Women s Development Foundation (CWDF), the “Mother and Infant Nutrition Fund” aims to collect public donations via the release of commemorative silver coins by China Gold Coin Incorporation to improve nutrition for underprivileged women and their children. So far, the charity initiative has been implemented in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Chongqing Municipality, but it will be extended to other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in coming years.
