Cooperation Projects

 

In 2007, China Construction Bank (CCB) donated 50 million yuan (U.S.$7.67 million) to China Women’s Development Foundation to establish the “China Impoverished Model Hero Mothers – China Construction Bank Fund Scheme” project aimed at funding over 1,800 impoverished mothers and wives of the model heroes each year. The first stage of this project is set to provide the 10-year funds to help approximately 18,000 mothers or wives in need. From 2011 to 2013, CCB donated 22 million (U.S.$3.37 million) to the “Health Express for Mothers” project and purchased 146 mobile clinics for target groups in Qinghai, Gansu, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Tibet, Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Liaoning provinces or autonomous regions.
